Enabling every child to hear the story of the Bible at school in their primary years.

OPEN THE BOOK offers a programme of themed and dramatised Bible stories in primary schools. Each session is around 10 minutes long and fits comfortably into assembly times.

Our teams of volunteer storytellers use drama, mime, props, costume - even the children and staff themselves - to present Bible stories in ways that are lively, engaging, informative ... and great fun for everyone involved!

Thanks to OPEN THE BOOK, children in our schools will have the opportunity during Collective Worship to discover all the wonder and wisdom that the Bible can offer!

We run OPEN THE BOOK assemblies on alternate weeks in Tadcaster East Primary school on a Tuesday afternoon and at Riverside Primary on a Wednesday morning. If you live locally, are part of a church and would like to join our little group then please get in touch with Priscilla. (details on contact page)

• Every Monday 11:30am to 2pm

• Every Friday 9am to 12pm
